Reba McEntire Divorce Shocker- Country Fans' Twitter Reactions To Narvel Blackstock Split

Okay we have officially given up on love. Today seems to be the day that every celebrity couple that we love has decided to throw in the towel on their marriages. First, punk royalty Gavin Rossdale and Gwen Stefani broke the news that they were calling it quits on their relationship, and now country super couple Reba McEntire and her hubby of 26 years Narvel Blackstock has revealed that they will also be ending their relationship.

According to Radar Online, the couple may have just revealed the news of their split but they have actually been living separately for the last couple of months.

"In a joint statement, Narvel Blackstock and Reba McEntire have announced that they have been separated for the past few months, after 26 years of marriage," according to a post on Reba's website.

However, it seems that they are just like every other couple who has announced their splits recently, as they have agreed to continue to be friendly with one another.

"Despite this being the end of their marriage, they continue to support each other. They have worked together for 35 years and will continue to do so," the source confirmed.

Today is also confirming the split reporting that the couple was married back in 1989 and have one son together, Shelby Blackstock.

We think what makes us the most distraught about this news is that Reba will no longer be the stepmother to Kelly Clarkson, as her stepson is Brandon Blackstock, Clarkson's hubby. Read some of the tweets from heartbroken fans below:
