Will Smith Slams Jada Pinkett Divorce Rumors: "Dumb People Should Wear Scarlet 'D's"

Will Smith wants everyone to calm down! The Suicide Squad star just revealed that he and his wife, Jada Pinkett Smith, aren't getting a divorce. After rumors started swirling around on RadarOnline that the Smith's were calling it quits after 17 years of marriage, Will finally decided to entertain the story and made sure everyone knew that he and his wife weren't divorcing at all – and if they were, he'd be the first to reveal it.

In his statement below, Smith wrote via Facebook:

"Under normal circumstances, I don't usually respond to foolishness. (Because it's contagious) But, so many people have extended me their 'deepest condolences' that I figured – "What the hell... I can be foolish, too!"

So, in the interest of redundant, repetitious, over & over-again-ness... Jada and I are...

NOT GETTING A DIVORCE!!!!!!!!!!!!! : -)

MStars News previously reported that rumors suggested that one of everybody's favorite couple's were splitting up.

RadarOnline claimed that a source said that Will and Jada were exhausted and trying to keep up the image that their marriage was a happy home.

"For Will and Jada, holding it together these past few years has been tough because their marriage has been on life support for a long time," an insider allegedly claimed. "They're exhausted from trying to maintain the façade of a happy union," the source continued, adding, "They've decided to pull the plug in a carefully choreographed manner, [and] agree announcing their split at the end of the summer is the right move."

The gossip site also claimed that Will and Jada were working out a deal and prepping their kids for their split. Radar said the insider claimed that the parents of Jaden and Willow "worked out a confidential settlement to protect their $240 million fortune, and prepare their kids [son Jaden, 17, and daughter Willow, 14] for the fallout." Their daughter Willow also reassured fans that her parents were still married. She tweeted: "The media thinks my parents are getting divorced like every second hahaha!"
