Supermassive Games' 'Until Dawn' Release Date Gold With PS4 Gameplay Character Personalities!

The Until Dawn videogame will definitely be available for the PlayStation 4. While the Supermassive Games developers tease the different character personalities within the gameplay, the exclusive PS4 horror/survival has gone gold before its August release date.

According to the official synopsis, eight friends find themselves trapped together on a remote mountain retreat. But these friends should be suspicious because they aren't alone. Gripped by dread, and with tensions running high, these eight friends must fight through their fear if they hope to make through the night in one piece.

As the gamer, you get play as each of the eight characters. You will experience fear like you never have before because your every decision affects them. Your actions alone will decide who survives at the end of Until Dawn. The story is written in collaboration with cult horror writer/directors Larry Fessenden (I Sell The Dead) & Graham Reznick (I Can See You).

According to IGN, the PlayStation 4 exclusive horror game has gone gold. This means the videogame is in a state considered ready to ship to retailers. Perfect timing too because the game is scheduled for release in just a matter of weeks. The videogame's gold status was announced by developer Supermassive Games via Twitter.

According to Attack of the Fanboy,  the game allows you to choose certain characters to be cowards or heroes. A NeoGAF user shared a new screenshot from the game that shows there will be character traits and stats.

The traits include: Honest, Charitable, Funny, Brave, Romantic and Curious. You have the choice to make them either noble characters, cowards, or douche bags. Whichever your preference, there will also be a meter measuring your relationship with other characters. Some characters will be friendly to others or maybe they won't be.

Until Dawn will be out exclusively for the PS4 on August 25th.
