A feud between former E! News host Giuliana Rancic and her "replacement" Maria Menounos has been highly speculated about in the press for some time, as it has been reported that Menounos will be taking over in the coming weeks. However, it looks like today there is some fuel about to be added to the fire. It is being alleged that when Giuliana heard the news that Maria was coming onboard at the network that she didn't congratulate her on the position, but instead she gave her some advice in the form of an email.

According to Radar Online, the host who has been with E! News for the last 13 years sent out a little note to Maria after hearing she was being replaced:

"Giuliana was so upset about being replaced by Maria that she did not congratulate her," a source close to the series explained, adding that instead, "she wrote her an email."

Well it seems that Giuliana used the opportunity to remind Maria that she was the original host and that Maria had some work cut out for her.

"Giuliana's only piece of advice to Maria was, 'You have some big shoes to fill!'" the insider revealed.

However, Variety reported that there was no bad blood between Maria and Giuliana, as Rancic was excited for her new career opportunities.

"This is such a thrilling time for me, and I thank the gang at E! for understanding my desire to embark on this next chapter in my life," the star revealed.

Rancic will continue to be part of E! as she will host Live From the Red Carpet, as well as Fashion Police in the coming months.
