The Daily Show and fast food chain Arby's have had a complicated relationship over the years ... for no good reason. Jon Stewart has time and time again mocked the oh-so-wretched eatery. Now, with his last show airing tonight, it looks like the chain has decided to end the feud. They purchased ad space during The Daily Show and aired new commercials, homages to the soon-to-be unemployed comedian, during last night's penultimate episode.

Noting that Arby's is "like your stomach got punched in the balls" or it's "the Sean Hannity of fast food," Stewart's longtime Arby's kicks have been going on for, well, a long time. But that doesn't mean there's any animosity from the fast food giant. Actually, according to The Huffington Post, it looks like Stewart's mock of the chain has only helped its business over the years.

So, perhaps because of that, they'll miss having Jon Stewart around.

An executive at Arby's, Paul Brown, told The Wall Street Journal¸ "Collectively, what is going on has resulted in uplift of business performance."

"Not sure why, but we'll miss you."

Stewart is airing the final Daily Show tonight on Comedy Central. Reports have stated that the prices for ad space on the finale can run upwards of $230,000 for just 30 seconds of air time.
