'Trainwreck' Amy Schumer: New Stand-Up Apollo Theater HBO Special [TRAILER] Released

Comedian Amy Schumer, fresh off the success of her newest (and first!) feature film Trainwreck, is gearing up for the release of her new HBO stand-up special Live at the Apollo Theater. The network recently dropped the teaser trailer for the Inside Amy Schumer star's special. And like everything else she's done, it looks like it'll be a success.

Schumer's new HBO special will air on the network this coming Saturday, Oct. 17 at 10 p.m. EST.

The comedian has been in the news as of late for not only the success of her film, but also for her recent press conference with New York Senator Chuck Schumer. The two are proposing a stricter gun control law in the wake of the recent shooting in Louisiana, which happened to be during a showing of Trainwreck.

Schumer also stopped be Jon Stewart's newly-retired (as much as it pains us to write that) Daily Show to discuss the film and her efforts to stop gun violence.
