The addition of Peter Dinklage as the character Ghost in the hit video game Destiny was definitely a huge draw for many gamers out there, despite the impressive gameplay and the amount of money developers Bungie spent on the title, but the Game of Thrones actor has been replaced in the game's latest DLC! Entitled "The Taken King," this new addition to the popular game will have legendary gaming voice actor Nolan North taking over Ghost, which might not be too surprising to fans. This week, Bungie explained why the A-list actor was replaced and how it shouldn't affect how the game is played.

It turns out that the reason for replacing Dinklage with North was quite simple: the Hollywood star is quite busy and Nolan North is more available in the gaming community!

"Dinklage was awesome to work with but we needed to work with someone who is more available. Nolan is a pro, this is his thing," executive producer Mark Noseworthy explained, according to IGN. "You can just call him up and say 'hey, next week we're doing this internal play test and it would be great to get some Ghost dialogue in there'. And he's available."

Perhaps North should've been used all along...after all; Alpha footage of Destiny that came out ahead of its release date featured a bemused Dinklage in the gameplay, leading to criticism. The actor re-recorded his audio for the actual release, though, so that problem was short-lived. You can read our previous coverage on this news right here!
