The sci-fi drama, Humans, has 1 episode left before its first season finale on AMC. In episode 7, while Leo (Colin Morgan) and synth Anita/Mia (Gemma Chan) were dealing with their own problems, Twitter had so much to say about the Dr. George Millican (William Hurt) shocker.

In our previous recap, the mystery behind Leo was slowly unraveled. Because he died as a boy and came back from the dead, Leo happens to be part human, part Synth. Leo shares an intimate connection with Anita, whose real name is Mia, who raised him as a boy, as if he were her own son. Leo had no choice but to continue running after Max (Ivanno Jeremiah) sacrificed himself.

In our recent recap, Leo searched endlessly to find Max's damaged body; never realizing he was bringing trouble to Laura (Katherine Parkinson) and her family. A surprise visit came to George's home as DI Karen Voss (Ruth Bradley), turned out to be a former Synth that Niska (Emily Berrington) knew and abandoned. Nisei was too late to save George as Karen/Beatrice shot him in the stomach. George lied on the floor dying as Odi (Will Tudor) recounted a lost memory of him and his wife.

In an interview with the New Zealand Heard, Hurt reveals, "My character George's memory fades after a stroke, so his synth Odi provides a link to his dead wife. Odi becomes part of George's own memory system. It's a metaphor for how robotics are an extension of ourselves. Is Odi sentient? Well, sentience is a projection anyway. A lot of people don't seem very sentient to me!"
