FX's 'The Strain' Season 2 Episode 6 Spoilers: Will Corey Stoll's Eph Be "Darker" By Finale?

Based on Guillermo Del Toro's bestselling graphic novels, published by Dark Horse Comics, Season 2 of The Strain continues on FX. In the upcoming Episode 6, will viewers watch Eph Goodweather (Corey Stoll) start to become "darker" before heading into the second season finale?

In our previous recap, after suffering a major loss at the hands of Eldritch Palmer (Jonathan Hyde), Gus (Miguel Gomez) found himself wandering th streets, until he recognized a former wrestler named The Silver Angel (Joaquin Cosio). While Abraham (David Bradley) and Dutch (Ruta Gedmintas) attempted to convince Reggie Fitzwilliam (Roger Cross) to join their cause, Vasiliy Fet (Kevin Durand) was arrested by the military police.

In our recent recap, Dutch and Nora finally met with Councilwoman Justine Feraldo (Samantha Mathis), who helped free Fet from custody. Continuing his search for the Occido Lumen, Abraham found himself teaming up with Reggie. While Eph headed off to Washington D.C., his vampire continues to search for their son. A new arrival may spark trouble in the war against The Master.

In an interview with Blastr, the Ant-Man actor reveals, "Yeah, I think you can say that. The first time he killed anybody intentionally he was being attacked, and that was sort of purely defensive. As the first season went on, he became more inured to killing to the point where he doesn't really sort of flinch killing people who are completely turned."

Stoll adds, "Then he crossed the line, again, at the beginning of this season experimenting on freshly turned people and then this is another one, and then sort of the ratchet that sort of keeps pushing him past these lines that he never thought he would cross. But yeah, it definitely from that point on to the rest of the season, he is in a different place, morally."

As we previously mentioned, The Strain has been renewed for a third season.
