FX's 'The Strain' Season 2 Recap: Episode 6: Will Corey Stoll, Mia Maestro Learn "Identity?"

Season 2 of The Strain continues on FX. Based on Guillermo Del Toro's bestselling novels, published by Dark Horse Comics, in Episode 6, are Ephraim Goodweather (Corey Stoll) and Nora Martinez (Mia Maestro) ready to find The Master's true Identity?

After making it in Washington D.C., Eph meets with a friend, who introduces him to Lee Thompson. Lee happens to work at a chemical company that could facilitate Eph's disease against the vampires. Lee is very interested in Eph's homemade diseases but there's a catch. 

While taking care of Zach (Max Charles), Nora takes sometime to talk with Councilwoman Justine Feraldo (Samantha Mathis). While Justine gets some of her men to take care of Nora, Eldritch Palmer (Jonathan Hyde) isn't too happy with Thomas Eichorst (Richard Sammel). Knowing their plan is in jeopardy, Palmer wants to meet with The Master but Thomas denies it. 

As the mysterious vampire meets with The Ancients, Eph is turned down by Lee, even after sleeping with her. Eph and his friend then meets with a government official as Gus (Miguel Gomez) attempts to befriend the Silver Angel (Joaquin Cosio). After seeing an old video, Gus notices how Angel broke his leg in his wrestling/horror movie. 

Gus and the Silver Angel have to work together when someone they both know is attacked by a vampire horde. Using an axe, Gus is able to put down a bloodsucker with the help of Angel. Unfortunately, Angel's bad leg starts up and Gus has to carry him out.

While in the backseat of a police car, Nora is taking care of Zach. After a police office officer runs over one of the vampire children, that's when the rest of them attack. Nora tells Zach to run to the church as she starts shooting at Kelly (Natalie Brown). 

Reggie Fitzwilliam (Roger Cross) is with (David Bradley) when Nora makes the call for help. After running throughout the church. Kelly won't stop until she has found Zach. Just as Nora is about to run out of bullets, Vasiliy Fet comes in the nick of time and starts shooting.

Just when Reggie takes down one of the vampire children, all of a sudden, he gets bitten. Fet opens fire on Kelly before she makes her retreat. Abraham gets the others to leave before he chops off Reggie's head.

Lee tells Eph the good news that he needs; his disease will be fabricated and duplicated. Unfortunately, when the two end up at Robert's place, Eph finds his friend dead on the floor. An assassin working for Stoneheart shoots and kills Lee. After getting shot, Eph manages to fire a bullet into the assasin's head.

Bolivar (Jack Kesey) watches as The Master's transformation is about to take place. The Master then vomits the worms into Bolivar's mouth. The Master is now inside Bolivar's body and uses it as his host. 

Now in Bolivar's body, Thomas promises his allegiance to The Master no matter what.
