In the second official trailer for Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice, we get a quick glimpse of Wonder Woman fighting an opponent that we can't quite see. But a new rumor says that this figure is actually Doomsday, one of the Man of Steel's most powerful enemies!

Doomsday has been rumored as one of the villains of the movie for quite some time, alongside Lex Luthor (Jesse Eisenberg). In fact, some reports have claimed Luthor uses General Zod's body, which we see in the trailer, to create Doomsday.

But if those details are not enough, Heroic Hollywood now reports that at one point in the battle, Wonder Woman slices off Doomsday's hand with a sword, but the beast regenerates a bone blade. After this, the fight apparently continues, and they clash with their swords. It sounds like this will be an intense showdown between two super-powered beings and should be a high point of the film.

Gal Gadot's casting as Wonder Woman carried with it plenty of controversy, as some felt the actress did not have the right body type for the part. But those criticisms have died down recently and rightfully so.

Either way, Gadot has let the complaints roll off her back, as evidenced when she discussed her character in a recent chat with Interview Magazine.

First, the 30-year-old Israeli actress talked about the roles she wanted when she first got to Hollywood. “I told them that I wanted to be able to show the stronger side of women," she said. "I didn’t want to do the obvious role that you see in Hollywood most of the time, which is the heartbroken girl who’s waiting to be rescued by the guy, blah, blah, blah.”

Eventually, she landed the role of Wonder Woman in the highly anticipated movie. “I’m so excited about this role. I feel like I’ve been given a huge opportunity to inspire people, not only women. And not because of me but because of who Wonder Woman is and what she stands for,” Gadot said. “There’s a lot of responsibility. But I have the best team and the best people to work with. It’s going to be an amazing ride, knock on wood.”
