Michel’le, the former girlfriend of Dr. Dre, has shared her raw thoughts on not being portrayed in the Straight Outta Compton film. A few months back, the R&B Divas star sat down with VladTV for an intimate interview where she claimed that she was beaten and abused by the Beats CEO during their former relationship in the 90’s. While some viewers of the film were curious to see if she would be featured in the N.W.A. biopic that is currently topping the box office, her role in the story was absent from the final cut.

Speaking with the outlet once again, Michel’le revealed her true thoughts on not being included in the movie, saying she is “happy” to be left out.

“I didn’t even want to get the script, but I heard I wasn’t in it. I was told that, which I’m really happy about. No, that’s Cube’s version of his life. Yeah, but why would Dre put me in it? I mean, cause if they start from where they start from, I was just a quiet girlfriend who got beat up and told to ‘Sit down and shut up’ … My part has no value to probably what they really want to talk about. Unless they want to talk,” she told VladTV. Even though she has not seen the film yet, she says she “absolutely” has plans to see it.

On top of her plans to see the film, Michel’le also said that her son, whom she shares with Dre, has a good relationship with his father. The two apparently even work in the studio together frequently, as the son wants to score music. They both were able to develop a stronger relationship when Michel’le’s mother died, as Dre stepped up to take care of him at the time.
