Straight Outta Compton is one of the most anticipated films of the summer of 2015, an as it premieres in theaters throughout the US, N.W.A rapper Dr. Dre opened up about his past, and his abuse towards women.

Though this part of his life is missing from Friday's film, Dr. Dre did want to address it himself.

During his interview with Rolling Stone, out on Friday, August 14, the same day as the movie release, Dre reflected on times he assaulted women, including TV host Dee Barnes, as well as his baby mama, singer Michel'le.

"I made some f*cking horrible mistakes in my life," Dre admitted. "I was young, f*cking stupid. I would say all the allegations aren't true - some of them are. Those are some of the things that I would like to take back. It was really f*cked up. But I paid for those mistakes, and there's no way in h*ll that I will ever make another mistake like that again."

Ice Cube touched on this subject and wasn't too nice about the entire situation, using the word "b*tch."

"If you're a b*tch, you're probably not going to like us," the former jheri curl-sporting rapper said. "If you're a ho, you probably don't like us. If you're not a ho or a b*tch, don't be jumping to the defense of these despicable females. Just like I shouldn't be jumping to the defense of no punks or no cowards or no slimy son of a b*tches that's men. I never understood why an upstanding lady would even think we're talking about her."

Dre's former girlfriend, and the ex-wife of Suge Knight, Michel'le described her past violent relationship with the rapper. She previously said she tried to fist fight her ex when he'd put his hands on her. The '90s songstress claimed that Dre "broke her nose," and added that she "had five black eyes, a cracked rib and scars."

O'Shea Jackson Jr., Ice Cube's son, stars as his father in the new film. Corey Hawkins and Jason Mitchell are also part of the film, playing the roles of Dr. Dre and Eazy-E. Aldis Hodge plays MC Ren, and Neil Brown Jr. stars as DJ Yella.

27 years ago the album was released and their lives changed forever. #StraightOuttaCompton #NWA
