Bossypants is at it again! Actor/writer/producer Tina Fey is collaborating again with Robert Carlock, who partnered with Fey on Netflix's Original Series The Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, on a new comedy show for NBC. This is good news for the team seeing as the streaming series had originally been rejected by NBC and then subsequently picked up by Netflix. Tracey Wigfield of 30 Rock and The Mindy Project will executive produce the show, according to the Inquisitr, which reports that " insiders are confident that the show will get a series order. The new Tina Fey series is said to be about a young woman making her way up the career ladder at a cable network when her overbearing mother is hired as an intern."

Right now the working title is A Good Place. NBC Chairman Robert Greenblatt seems to also like Wigfield's writing. "Tracey has created a lightly autobiographical, very relatable comedy about an up-and-coming millennial woman working at a cable news network where her mother happens to get a job after going back into the work place...The combination of Tina, Robert, and Tracey, we think, is about as good as it gets," he said, according to Entertainment Weekly.

This could be a very smart decision on NBC's part, even though they are only giving the Fey-Carlock project a pilot production. "The deals come after NBC has admittedly struggled with comedies in recent seasons. The network's current scripted comedy roster includes the all-live edition of Undateable - its longest-running half-hour - rookies Mr. Robinson and The Carmichael Show (both airing this summer); midseason freshman Coach, Crowded, Hot & Bothered, Superstore and Truth Be Told, the latter of which is its lone first-year fall debut," The Hollywood Reporter, via Yahoo! News, says.

The project will most likely dazzle and be ordered at least six episodes, but this has not been rumored as of yet. NBC must remember that it was Carlock and Fey who brought 30 Rock to the primetime comedy schedule, which ran for seven seasons and won three Emmy Awards for Best Comedy Series.

Let's hope for an awesome pilot from this superstar squad of a team and hope that it brings us a new show to obsess over!
