Actress Lydia Wilson, best known for her role in 2013's About Time, has officially joined the cast of Star Trek Beyond, directed by Justin Lin. Wilson will star alongside returning cast members Chris Pine, Zachary Quinto, Simon Pegg, Karl Urban, Zoe Saldana and Anton Yelchin, with Idris Elba also joining the third installment in the series of movies as the villain. As far as we can tell, we have no details on Wilson's role, just like how we have very little information on the film's plot (via Gamma Squad). We know that Simon Pegg co-wrote the script with Doug Jung, but the actor is playing coy about his work so far, though he did accidentally leak the official title early.

Wilson's previous work includes roles on British TV shows Black Mirror, Ripper Street and Misfits, as well as the film Never Let Me Go and numerous stage appearances, according to Slash Film.

Meanwhile, actress Boutella is recognized for her role in Kingsman: The Secret Service, but is relatively unknown otherwise. She's a dancer and musician that might have found a successful acting career with bigger roles on the way.

Taslim worked with director Justin Lin on the Fast and Furious 6, but also starred in the popular action film The Raid: Redemption.  We're excited to see what these new stars bring to the franchise.

The main speculation is around Elba's character and what type of villain he'll portray. Perhaps we'll start rumors about these new stars now that the cast is rounding out with new players.
