Kelly Clarkson, Pregnant American Idol Expecting Second Kid, Shows Off Baby Bump on Stage

She's adding another baby to the royal family. The first ever crowned queen of American Idol, Kelly Clarkson has just revealed the news that she is pregnant with her second child. The "Breakaway" singer exposed the news to a shocked crowd at the Staples Center on Wednesday night where she was performing to an audience of 20,000. The star is currently on tour supporting her latest album Piece By Piece, and she surprised her fans with the awesome news after an emotional performance.

According to Radar Online, the star stopped to share the news after finishing her single "Piece By Piece," which tells the story of a neglectful father and how his daughter won't follow in the same path as him when raising her children.

"I was not planning on announcing this, but I'm totally pregnant," Clarkson announced to the audience members, who broke out into massive applause.

Entertainment Tonight also commented on the news saying that this will be the second child for Kelly and husband Brandon Blackstock. The site reports that Clarkson got emotional talking about what a great father Brandon is to the couple's one-year old daughter River Rose, and wanted to share the news.

"Not everybody is born with a great dad or a great role model," Clarkson explained in the video clip. "I married such a great lover."

She also fessed up that she wasn't planning on announcing the news but after getting emotional she felt that she needed to explain herself to the crowd.

"That was not planned. I just didn't want you to think I was crazy. Honestly I'm just hormonal today. Nothing wrong. I'm okay," Kelly told the audience, adding, "I haven't vomited yet!"
