'Destiny' PC Gameplay Release Date Rumors: Bungie Job Listings Hiring 'Compatibility Tester'

According to a new post on the job listings board over at Bungie, the development studio behind the widely played Destiny video game, we could be looking at PC gameplay in the near future. Bungie is currently searching for a PC Compatibility Tester to hire, and considering Destiny si the only game that the company works on, it looks like Windows gamers will get some pleasant release date news soon. "Testers at Bungie are grouped into teams, responsible for ensuring that an area of the game is ready to ship," the job listings states, according to IGN. "The PC Compatibility Tester will evaluate PC hardware-specific features and ensure various systems work together across multiple PC configurations to provide a great experience. This is a challenging area to test, so we are only looking for the most resilient and technically minded testers. If you love solving new problems on a continuous basis with an eye for detail, you will love PC Compatibility Test at Bungie."

Polygon points out that one required skill for this position is "experienced and comfortable with building PCs from scratch."

We know that Bungie only has one project, which is Destiny. We also know that developers working on the game have talked about a possible PC version of the game coming into the world, but we haven't heard anything else in a while.

This job listing could be our biggest clue about this news, but the company has yet to announce anything officially.
