Cameo Rumored for Movies 'Captain America: Civil War' & 'Spider-Man' Reboot?

There have been some rumors going on lately that someone very privately filmed her cameo scenes for both Disney and Marvel's Captain America: Civil War and will continue her role as Peter Parker's Aunt May in the Spider-Man reboot that would follow. It's none other than sweetheart Marisa Tomei!

Heroic Hollywood says, "Our sources tell us that Marisa Tomei will indeed be seen as Aunt May first in Captain America: Civil War as she secretly shot her scenes before production wrapped. Last week furniture props of Peter Parker's bedroom were revealed by a[n] Atlanta TV station." It is mostly like that that was the very same set that Tomei was on to shoot her scenes as Aunt May with Peter Parker (Tom Holland).

The Hollywood Reporter says, "Sony and Marvel's new films will feature a younger Peter Parker, who is just a freshman in high school. Therefore, the studios seem to also be aiming for a younger Aunt May to present an updated, more contemporary version of the character. The new film, which will be produced by Kevin Feige and Amy Pascal, is slated for release on July 28, 2017." This would make Tomei a perfect fit!

Holland himself has some pretty big shoes to fill seeing as Andrew Garfield and Tobey Maguire preceeded him in the role. This will be a great chance though to reinvent the character and Slash Film says that even though his role is small in Captain America: Civil War, Spider Man will have more of a sense of humor. "Director Jon Watts has described his Spider-Man as 'the most grounded, relatable of superheroes.' However, it's unclear how much of that personality we'll see in Captain America: Civil War, as we don't know the nature of his cameo appearance." There was mention that he wouldn't be Spider Man yet. Uproxx reports, "The team notes that we might not see the suit in the cameo, which makes sense as they're probably still designing it." Another character that we should be supposedly excited to see is Black Panther played by Chadwick Boseman! We guess we will just have to wait and see in 2016!
