'Sleepy Hollow' Season 3 Spoilers: Will Lance Gross, Zach Appelman Join Nicole Beharie's Cast?

Fox has made two major casting announcements for the upcoming Season 3 of Sleepy Hollow. Joining as series regulars, are Ichabod Crane (Tom Mison) and Abbie Mills (Nicole Beharie) ready to meet with the new faces, Lance Gross and Zach Appelman?

After dying in the midst of battle during the Revolutionary War, solider Ichabod (Mison) awakes in the present-day Sleepy Hollow, New York. His sudden resurrection is connected to the reappearance of the Headless Horseman, who happens to be one of the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse. To prevent the end of the world, Crane teams up with Mills (Beharie) to stop the Horseman's evil reign of terror.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Lane Gross (Crisis) has landed a major recurring role as Daniel Reynolds, the FBI special agent in charge. As Abbie's (Beharie) new boss. Reynolds will quickly make a name for himself at the bureau with his tenacity and political savviness. His first assignment to Sleepy Hollow will reunite him with Abbie.

Briefly seen as Joe Corbin, the son of August Corbin (Clancy Brown) joins forces with Jenny (Lyndie Greenwood) to look into his father's work. Joe will soon become an asset to Crane & Abbie's mission.

Showrunner Clifton Campbell tells THR, "Lance and Zach are both very talented and welcome additions to our Sleepy cast. There are rich stories to be told with these characters and we believe that fans will embrace these new -- and quite mysterious -- developments in the Sleepy Hollow world."

As we previously mentioned, Nikki Reed (Twilight) has joined the cast as Betsy Ross. Recently seen in Wayward Pines, Shannyn Sossamon will appear in the role of a mysterious newcomer named Pandora.
