'New Girl' Star Max Greenfield Welcomes Baby Boy With Wife Tess Sanchez

This time it's not a "new girl" for Golden Globe-nominated actor Max Greenfield, it's a "new boy!" Greenfield and his wife, casting executive Tess Sanchez, welcomed their newborn son named Ozzie James Greenfield earlier this week. Read more on this happy baby news for the New Girl star below.

"Sanchez announced her second pregnancy in April. Little Ozzie weighted 6 lbs., 12 oz. and joins big sister Lilly Greenfield, who was born in 2010," E! News reports. Greenfield definitely wasn't as nervous for baby number two as he was for little Lilly. He told Us Weekly back in June, "You know, it's the second one. With the first one, you have the nursery set up when you find out that you're pregnant. 'Let's do it!' This one, you're like, 'It will be fine. We'll figure it out.'"

He even jokingly mentioned how he wanted to put his first born child to work in order to help out and be a good big sister. "We're really hoping that she can pick up some of the responsibility slack. We're going to put her to work and we're going to see how well that goes...Whatever she can do!" he told Us Weekly.

This is a very busy time for Greenfield. Not only is he a daddy again, but he has been working hard on New Girl (which will be renewed for a fifth season) and filming a very creepy addict role on Ryan Murphy's new season of American Horror Story: Hotel. "He cut off his beautiful hair and dyed it and then we had to let the roots grow in," Murphy told E! News and then a couple weeks ago he made mention of Greenfield's appearance again. "I think he's lost 30 lbs, which is odd because his wife is due to have a baby any day now, so she's nine months pregnant and he's living on celery water. She's not happy about that. Yesterday I talked to him and his waist is down to, I think, a 27. He's really committed to it, and he looks amazing."

It's also been rumored that Greenfield shot one of the most creepiest scenes the show has ever shot, so not only should this season be great, but we can't wait to see him as a completely different character than we're used to seeing him as Schmidt.

New Girl will premiere on Fox midseason and the new season of American Horror Story: Hotel will premiere October 7th on FX!
