Zendaya saw that some Twitter followers called her parents ugly, leading the Disney star to quickly put them in their place. The singer and actress was receiving comments from some users that insulted both her mom and dad’s appearance, even going as far as to question Zendaya’s looks coming from them. One user even mentioned that they “would cry” if their parents looked like the singer’s, which was the last straw for Zendaya, who took to her profile to clap back at them.

Mentioning the users that were trashing her parents, Zendaya attached a selfie of her with her parents, Kazembe Ajamu Coleman and Claire Stoermer, along with note written in her iPhone. "First I'm gonna pray for you. While you're so concerned about what my parents look like, please know that these are two of the most selfless people in the world. They have chosen to spend their entire life, not worried about trivial things such as looks and insulting people's parents on Twitter, but instead became educators who have dedicated their lives to teaching, cultivating and filling young shallow mind. (One of the most important yet underpaid jobs we have),” she wrote to the users. "Please, log out, go to school, hug a teacher and read a textbook…and while you're at it, go look in the mirror and know that you too are beautiful, because such hateful things only stem from internal struggles. Bless you,” she concluded.

This isn’t the first time that Zendaya has kept it classy when clapping back at those throwing insults her way. The Disney actress also called out Giuliana Rancic in a similar way this year after the Fashion Police host made a borderline racist joke about her dreaded hairstyle on the Grammy’s red carpet. Zendaya penned a lengthy note to the E! personality where she even incorporated a history lesson on African-Americans and their hairstyles.
