Despite all the naysayers when it comes to Republican candidate Donald Trump, it appears the former Celebrity Apprentice star is still leading in the polls. With that, however, another person has come out speaking against the candidate – "Livin' La Vida Loca" singer Ricky Martin (yep, we went back that far...). Following that whole Jorge Ramos press conference thing, in which Trump had the Univision reporter removed for a little bit due to his inappropriate behavior, Martin wrote an op-ed calling out Trump.

The new piece comes in Fusion, in which Martin calls for an all-out stop on Trump's "xenophobia" and harassment on the Latino community.

"The fact that a person like Donald Trump, a candidate for the U.S. presidency for the Republican Party, has the gall to continue to freely harass the Latino community day after day makes my blood boil," Martin wrote. He further asked why Trump assumes he has "the right to make the absurd, incoherent, and ignorant comments" about the Latino community.

With that, however, he admits to not being surprised by this move.

What he is surprised about is the fact that the community appears to be accepting the "aggressions and accusations" coming from Trump. Because of this, he's hoping to join together with the community to "not tolerate any politician using insults in the campaign."

Instead, he hopes to have a widespread respect for the first-generation Latinos who "opened a path" for today's Latinos.

On the Jorge Ramos incident, Reggaeton star Wisin added to Martin's comments, writing, "The arrogance shown against Jorge Ramos speaks of a man who did not learn from the history that hurt the United States and made its people suffer deeply due to the inequality of races."

So, Donald Trump on the Latino community. Thoughts?
