Dealing with difficult people is unfortunately something we'll all have to do at some point throughout our lives. Luckily, there are a couple of New York comedians who are helping us get through those tough times and move on from those personalities. Of course, given the fact that we're talking about Billy Eichner and Julie Klausner, you might have to take their advice lightly – you know, considering that they themselves might be a perceived as a tad difficult on the new Hulu series Difficult People.

Okay, let's be real – Eichner and Klausner, on the show, might not actually help you deal with difficult people, but they can sure as hell make you forget about those pains for a little while as you laugh during their Hulu series. But in watching, we couldn't help but think: is there some strong advice that can be gleaned from the new Hulu show?

Let's see if we can match some of the happenings in the show to some advice for dealing with difficult people.

MAINTAIN A POSITIVE ATTITUDE

While it's undoubtedly difficult to maintain a positive attitude all the time, especially when you're dealing with someone like Sissy up there, it's important to try and keep calm – even during difficult times. Those large personalities might make it even harder, but if you remain calm around the individual, you might start to see them become less difficult to deal with.

KILL THEM WITH KINDNESS

Alright, killing them with kindness is something the above group totally did not do. But we can learn a lot from what went down. The main thing is: if you're going to go through life as a jerk then you might want to change your attitude. Life is way to short to be mean, folks. Even to difficult people.

DON'T SAY EVERYTHING YOU'RE THINKING

Again, this is something Billy Eichner and Julie Klausner just have not figured out ... on the series, that is. But of course, if they kept all their thoughts inside, we wouldn't love them as much as we do.

So, can Difficult People actually help you deal with difficult people? Eh, who knows. But the good news is that the show was just picked up for a second season, which means we'll have another season to decide!
