‘RHONY’ Season 8: Kristen Taekman Not Fired After Ashley Madison Scandal?

Kristen Taekman might not have had a big part on Season 7 of Real Housewives of New York, but it seems that when the series returns for Season 8, the starlet could have one of the main storylines. It was just revealed that the RHONY star's husband, Josh Taekman, was a member of the cheating website Ashley Madison. Following the site's hack and information leak, Kristen and Josh have been dealing with the fallout. Yet, despite the hard times that have come with this news, it looks like Kristen might be able to thank the leak for possibly saving her from getting fired from the Bravo show.

While she was still a housewife last season, the starlet took more of a backseat role to a lot of the bigger drama that was going on. However, now that she has a big storyline she could see herself getting one of the main roles next year, according to Radar Online.

"The rumors that Josh has cheated on Kristen could actually save her from getting the axe," and insider explained to the site. "Kristen hadn't allowed marriage troubles to be played out in front of the cameras after her first season on the show, but if Kristen would be willing to allow cameras to document the fallout from the scandal, it could save her job."

As we previously reported, after Josh publicly addressed signing up for the dating site, Kristen has been leaning on her friends including Tori Spelling during this rough patch. She even took to her Instagram account to post a picture from her trip to Los Angeles the other week, where she was spotted hanging out with bestie and former RHOBH star Brandi Glanville.
