For the better part of a year, Nintendo has been flirting with the debut of their mobile apps. Most of what they had planned was shrouded in secret, which is normally the case with the video game company. Now it looks like we'll be getting an idea of what the future of their mobile gaming will look like. The company recently dropped a trailer for an upcoming game called Pokemon Go. The game looks to incorporate our reality with the virtual reality dimension of the pocket monsters. You can check out the trailer for it here.

From what it looks like, the app will utilize the phone camera and Pokemon will pop up on the screen as if they were right in front of you. With the Pokemon you'll catch, you'll probably be able to battle friends and complete strangers. Your world becomes a living Pokemon Red or Blue with the Go App.

Pokemon Go is set to come out in early 2016. The exact date is still unknown because, once again, that's what Nintendo does.

The app's developer is a company called Niantic. They are the creator of the popular mobile game Ingress. This game has been played by over a million people now and in it, players set up portals at intersecting landmarks. When you get enough people, two teams go to war with each other to take control of the other's portals.

Things have gotten so intense with Ingress that the gaming website Kotaku reports that people have been detained by police in order to make sure players don't take control. Some have climbed mountains while others electrified fences and put the lives of their opponents at risk just so they could win.

How do you think the Pokemon Go app will turn out? Will things get crazy with it the way it did for Ingress?
