After a long and tough battle against her sister, Venus Williams, Serena Williams was exhausted. On Tuesday, this not only led to the led to Serena being totally unapologetic when a reporter asked her a question regarding her lack of a smile during a press conference, but it also led to the defeat of Serena in her match against Roberta Vinci on Friday.

At a news conference after her match with Venus Williams, which she won in 3 sets, Serena was set to face the repetitive questions of reporters. She was exhausted when a reporter asked why she wasn't smiling, as she typically does during press conferences. He even went on to suggest that perhaps she was sad about beating her sister.

Accordng to CBC News, Serena answered by saying:

"Um, it's 11:30," she started.

"I don't - to be perfectly honest with you - I don't want to be here," Serena said. "I just want to be in bed right now. And I have to wake up early to practice.

"I don't want to answer any of these questions. And you guys keep asking me the same questions," she continued. "You're not making this super enjoyable ... Just being honest."

Her honest response elicited chuckles from her and the press audience. The same reporter then appeared to try to ask her another question.

"Is it about Venus again?" Serena quipped.

You can watch Serena's response in the video below:

On Friday, Sept. 11, 2015, after the exhausting match against her sister and the boring and tiresome press conference, Serena lost to Roberta Vinci, ending her quest of sweeping all four majors in a calendar year.

According to USA Today, Serena was clearly having an off day on Friday and was unable to pull through in the match against Vinci.

Although critics feel her loss was due to the excessive pressure she was probably feeling due to her quest of trying to play against history (the last time a tennis player swept all four majors in a calendar year was in 1988 with Steffi Graf), Serena claims otherwise:

"I told you guys I don't feel pressure," a tired Williams told reporters in a news conference. "I never felt pressure. ... I never felt that pressure to win here. I said that from the beginning."

Vinci beat Williams in a 3-set victory (2-6, 6-4, 6-4).

"Today was not a good day," her coach, Patrick Mouratoglou, told a small group of reporters, saying Williams woke up feeling off.

"Players are humans," he continued. "How many times did it happen this year where she felt like this and she still found her way through? She didn't find her way today."

Now, entertainment magazines, such as For The Win, Hollywood Life and Billboard, along with Twitter, claim that Drake is the reason behind Serena's loss, which could definitely be a possibility, as Drake tends to bring bad luck to sports games (i.e. Kentucky's NCAA Final Four game against Wisconsin where Kentucky had remained undefeated until Drake showed up). All we can say for now is that we hope Serena will have better luck next time.
