The X-Files Revival Spoilers: David Duchovny, Gillian Anderson's Mulder/Scully NYCC Premiere!

Back by popular demand, Fox has will premiere the first episode of the iconic sci-fi/horror series. In the revival of The X-Files, audiences will watch the return of paranormal investigators Fox Mulder (David Duchovny) and Dana Scully (Gillian Anderson) at the 2015 New York Comic Con.

As we previously mentioned,13 years have passed since FBI agents Fox Mulder and Dana Scully were on the TV screen solving weird and supernatural cases. The reboot of Fox's popular sci-fi series continues with 6 brand new episodes. Not only are the leads set to reprise their iconic roles, creator Chris Carter will takeover as showrunner for the franchise that launched his and many other careers.

According to Variety, Fox will screen the premiere of its upcoming The X-Files event series for attendees. This will take place three months before its official January airdate. Fans will be able to see the advanced screening of the premiere episode, entitled My Struggle.

After the advanced screening, NYCC will host a Q&A session with star David Duchovny and creator Chris Carter. The panel will be moderated by Silicon Valley star Kumail Nanjiani, who also guest stars in the revival series.

The screening and panel will occur Saturday, October 10 at the Javits Center in Manhattan. As we mentioned before, Gillian Anderson posted a photo with the cast, joined by Robbie Amell (The Flash) and crew as they wrapped up filming their last episode.

From now till October, Carter and the rest of his crew will be in postproduction mode, editing the episode ready for New York Comic Con.

The X-Files returns with a special two-night event beginning Sunday, January 24, 2016, following the NFC Championship Game. The event continues with its time period premiere on Monday, January 25, 2016 (8pm).
