Bethenny Frankel and Jill Zarin were the original reality TV best friends-turned-enemies as The Real Housewives of New York City progressed into its third season, but while a lot of talk was had over why these two had a falling out, was the real reason why they stopped being friends ever revealed? Jill continued on the Bravo series for Season 4, while Frankel sat on the sidelines after Season 3, but now that the long lost star has returned home, she had some choice words to share with her boss Andy Cohen about Zarin on his late night talk show, Watch What Happens Live, for the upcoming 100th episode special.

The series hit its 100th episode milestone during its seventh season earlier this year, but with a special getting ready to air later this week, a preview clip exposed the possible root of the girls' problem with each other.

According to Radar Online, it seems like it was Frankel's growing popularity from being on RHONY that started to "irk" Zarin.

"I remember there was a turning point," Frankel explained in the clip posted to PEOPLE, of her friendship with Jill. "I was hosting the Today Show. When I got there, the first thing that was told to me by the producers was Jill called her and she lost her mind. 'Why not me? I'm better than her.'"

As fans of the show saw, Zarin also was not too happy with Frankel after the chef didn't called Jill's husband Bobby Zarin following a medical procedure. The aftermath was shown on camera, as viewers watch the two's friendship go up in flames.

"It was really clear that she wanted people to hate me," the Skinnygirl mogul explained of their on-air feud, according to The Inquistr. "It must be very difficult for her that she can say she's responsible for putting me on the show and people say I'm the most successful Housewife in history and she would've been on the ride with me. You know, pigs get fat and hogs get slaughtered and that's how it goes!"
