Miss America Betty Cantrell Says Patriots' Quarterback Tom Brady Cheated

The former Miss Georgia, Betty Cantrell was crowned Miss America right after her response to Tom Brady's Deflategate controversy, saying that yes, he cheated.

Brady recently played in the Patriots' season-opening win on Thursday after his Deflategate suspension was overturned. But apparently not everyone is happy about that. On Sunday, Sept. 13, a new and important voice weighed in on the matter and came down hard on Brady, Miss America contestant Betty Cantrell of Georgia, who has now become the Miss America winner.

According to CBS Sports, Cantrell actually ended up being crowned Miss America after she decided to drag the New England Patriots' star quarterback and Super Bowl XLIX MVP, Tom Brady, out by calling him a cheater.

According to SB Nation, during Sunday night's Miss America competition, contestants were asked questions about the issues of the day: gun control, Planned Parenthood, Donald Trump's presidential campaign and even DeflateGate.

A judge asked Cantrell whether she thought Tom Brady cheated and Cantrell's answer went from 0-100, real quick. She started off sounding a little unsure, since, being a beauty pageant contestant, she may not be a die-hard football fan, but she then tore Brady apart. She said:

Did he cheat? Um, that's a really good question! I'm not sure. I think I'd have to be there to see the ball, and feel it to make sure it was deflated or not deflated. But if there was question there, then yes, I think he cheated. If there were any question to be had, I think that he definitely cheated, and he should've been suspended for that. That's not fair.

One has to admit that it's pretty impressive that Cantrell can apparently accurately detect PSI using only her hands and eyes. That's definitely a talent worthy of being Miss America. However, after winning, she admitted that she was completely unaware of what she was talking about and that she "thought she blew her on-stage question":
