May the Force be with you...especially on your face. In addition to toys and memorabilia this time around with the Star Wars franchise, Cover Girl has released a line of "Force Awakens" make-up celebrating the new film due out in December. Fox News says, "Since the original film's release in the late 1970s, Star Wars has been as much about merchandising as about the movies themselves (as Mel Brooks famously noted)." Not only has Disney and Lucasfilm thought to introduce toys and "gadgets" geared at children, but they realized that seeing as the franchise has been around since the '70s, that adults (maybe even parents of the new fans) will be interested in merchandise themselves.

The theme for Cover Girl's new line of make-up is "Force Awakens" and Fox News notes that it is perfect for costume play as well as everyday wear. In fact, "the line's creator, makeup legend Pat McGrath, came up with color palettes modeled after droids and Stormtroopers," Fox News reports. There is really no idea left out here! Cover Girl has gone all out and as E! News puts it, "No Jedi mind tricks here-just a full line of lipsticks, mascaras and nail polishes all inspired by the upcoming Star Wars: The Force Awakens." McGrath is apparently the brand's global creative design director and has managed to create six varying Star Wars character looks "using beauty good from the new line (plus a Cover [G]irl classics already on the market). If that name sounds familiar, then it's probably because it is-she's the famed makeup artist behind countless fashion shows and, oh yeah, Kim Kardashian's luxe Cleopatra transformation," E! News reports. The most popular look is "Droid style" and it quite "literally epitomizes the light side of the ...incorporating a full gold effect with shining metallic lips, created using Covergirl Star Wars Colorlicious Lipstick in gold." Fans can either use the make-up to dress up to show their devotion to the Force or they can merely use the mascara or lip color. Either way this is an amazing way to show their support and their playful side.
