Ariana Grande finally addressed her donut-licking scandal, with the "Love Me Harder" singer opening up on her behavior from the viral video. The former Nickelodeon star made headlines everywhere after security footage of her licking donuts at Wolfee Donuts in California, along with comments about her hating America and Americans.

Earlier this morning, Grande sat down with Good Morning America for one of her first television appearances since the incident, where she talked about the viral scandal, and her two apologies following.

"First of all I mean my behavior was very offensive and I apologized. There is no excuse and there is nothing to justify it. But you know, I think that as human beings we all say and do things that we don't mean at all sometimes and we have to learn from it. That's part of our process. We have to learn from our mistakes and that's how we grow,” Grande told the host, while promoting her brand new fragrance line.

As far as what the singer and actress has learned since the scandal, she revealed, "I think one of the biggest things I learned from that is what it feels like to disappoint so many people who love and believe in you and that's an excruciating feeling and you have to remember your word, your actions have, you know, ramifications and you have to really think about what you're about to say and do because it's important."

Despite her controversial statements about hating America and Americans, one of Grande’s apologies involved her saying she was “EXTREMELY proud to be an American” in a statement.

She also claimed that her words were taken out of context when told to her “friend” – backup dancer Ricky Alvarez, who is rumored to be her new boyfriend, as the two were spotted making out in the security surveillance.
