Ever since the Season 5 finale of Game of Thrones, fans have been wondering about the fate of Jon Snow for Season 6 and beyond. In a new interview, Kit Harington may have confirmed that his character is alive!

According to a post on Reddit, Harington spoke to Belgian magazine, Humo, to promote his new movie, Testament of Youth. During the interview, the topic of Game of Thrones and Jon Snow came up. The magazine asked if he would be back for Season 6, and he naturally responded with a non-answer. But he also discussed what a great opportunity the show has been, and he may have dropped a huge spoiler in the process.

The following is the Reddit user's translation of the relevant portion of the article:

"I often felt frustrated as well. I had to pass on amazing parts because I was attached to Game of Thrones. So the show is like a double-edged sword to me: I owe a lot to it, but at the same time it has almost completely drained me. Oh well, I try not to think about it too much. The important thing is that I now know exactly how long I am still under contract, and in the meantime –

How many more seasons would that be?

Nice try (laughs). I can't talk about that. Let's just say that Game of Thrones will remain a part of my life for a while, I'll probably be in my thirties when it's over. One thing's for sure: the day I'm no longer on Thrones is the day I'll bury myself in movie projects (laughs)."

Now it's possible that Harington is just messing with all of us because he knows how much we are all fervently searching for every scrap of evidence that his character is alive. Or perhaps he thought that most of us would never hear his remarks because the interview was with a Belgian magazine.

What do you think of Harington's remarks? Let us know in the comments section below.
