Chris Brown is probably one happy dad after the man who was named on baby Royalty's birth certificate was arrested for felony forgery. After being on the run for a couple of weeks, King Ba, who is Nia Guzman's boyfriend finally turned himself in after seeing his face on a mug shot on Crime Stoppers.

Ba was wanted by the Houston Police Department. Video footage of a man who authorities believed was King Ba was shown on surveillance tapes using forged checks. This lead the Houston Police Department searching for Royalty's "other father" to bring charges after he was using fake checks all over the city.

According to TMZ, law enforcement revealed that King Ba allegedly faked more than $5,000 in U.S. Treasury checks. Following his arrest, Guzman's boyfriend was released on a $5,000 bond.

#GotEeeem! #KingBa, the boyfriend of #ChrisBrown's baby mama #NiaGuzman, has finally been arrested after a few weeks ago it was reported that he was a wanted man. According to authorities, King Ba ( who also went by the names Kevin, Kelvin, and Brazil) was wanted for check fraud. Police say he forged checks totaling $5,000 and deposited them into bank accounts. He then withdrew money from those accounts. After the story was reported, Crimes Stoppers Houston tweeted that they received several tips. Unfortunately it wasn't one of the tips that got King Ba arrested, he actually turned himself in. Reports say that after King Ba saw his mugshot on Crimes Stoppers he felt turning himself in was the right thing to do. King Ba was booked and released on $5,000 bond. When the story broke a few weeks ago, Nia Guzman has distanced herself from King Ba, saying the two have broken up and have not been together in months. Nia now lives in Los Angeles. #TeamBreezy #BlogHive

The arrest will probably give the judge working Brown and Guzman's custody case a good reason for the singer to ultimately end up with more time with his daughter.

Sources claim that Guzman has called it quits with Ba, which is probably for her own good when she goes to court.

MStars News previously reported that Guzman filed legal documents claiming that Brown wasn't suitable enough to be Royalty's parent. She lost that battle as Brown won joint custody of his 1-year-old daughter. For now, Brown and Guzman have to share baby Royalty 50/50 every four days as Brown continues to pay his baby mama $2,500 each month instead of the $15k she was asking for.

Brown also faced another headache when Guzman asked the judge in their case to make him give a drug test on the spot. It's not clear what will happen if the test came back positive. Brown and Guzman are expected to reappear back in court in 12 days.
