John Cena may be one of the toughest fighters the WWE has ever known, but he's once again proven that he's a total softie on the inside while on the Today Show earlier today. The wrestler opened up about his work with the Make a Wish Foundation and how he brightens the lives of many ill children.

According to Time Magazine, earlier this week during the WWE Monday Night Raw show, Cena turned the spotlight on a 7-year-old little girl, named Kiara Grinrod, who recently won her battle against brain cancer.

Cena called Kiara "an inspiration to not only us in the ring, but to every single person outside the ring around the world."

Earlier today, while on the Today Show, Cena surprised and inspired yet another kid suffering from cancer.

According to Today.com, Rocco Lanzer, an 8-year-old boy suffering from leukemia, was lucky enough to meet Cena, his hero, while in the hospital, and once again this morning on the Today Show. Cena's hospital visit was a part of Make A Wish Foundation's 500th wish. While visiting Rocco, Cena gifted him with plenty of new WWE gear and his own champion belt, along with tickets to see Cena in Brooklyn:

This isn't Cena's first time honoring a young child battling with cancer. According to Huffington Post, Cena welcomed a child with an "I'm Beating Cancer" sign into the ring in June of this year, prior to the congratulations of a little girl who beat cancer during Monday Night Raw. Clearly Cena's got a soft spot for children either suffering from or beating cancer.

Also while on the Today Show, Cena spoke with Willie Geist and Natalie Morales on the Take and shared his experience with filming his scene with Amy Schumer in Trainwreck alongside LeBron James. He also spoke about his recent tweet of performing "sunrise squats" as part of his #MondayMotivation challenge with Geist. The wrestler also spoke with Geist about using his WWE John Cena cocktail napkins during a recent cocktail party.
