Sunday night's Emmy Awards had quite a few special moments tossed in. One of them was seeing upcoming Saturday Night Live host Tracy Morgan make his comeback to the stage after being absent for 15 months due to that near-death experience in a horrible car accident last June. And while most of the world was delighted to see the 30 Rock lead make everyone pregnant, the attorney of the Walmart truck driver, who struck Morgan and his friends, was not thrilled.

A lawyer representing Walmart driver Kevin Roper is reportedly fighting for his client's "constitutional rights," according to a report from Yahoo.

Attorney David Jay Glassman, Esq., stated, "This is exactly what happens when a prosecutor and a judge allow the victims to dictate what's important and control the proceedings." He explained that the constitutional rights of his client were "clearly the last thing on the mind of the Middlesex County prosecutor and the New Jersey Federal District Court Judge."

Roper's attorney expressed that because Morgan is who is he, the former Saturday Night Live key player is grabbing himself some reward. "Unfortunately, the same cannot be said about my client, who awaits indictment, while his constitutional rights have been discarded in favor of a punchline."

The punchline Glassman is referring to could perhaps be the below joke delivered by Morgan during his Emmy Awards appearance:

"I suffered a traumatic brain injury that put me in a coma for eight days. When I finally regained consciousness, I was just ecstatic to learn I wasn't the one who messed up."
