'Allison Road' Gameplay, Release Date News: Kickstarter Launches for 'PT'-Like Horror Title

Allison Road is a brand new video game project from independent British gaming studio Lilith LTD that has fans of the recently cancelled Silent Hills and its playable teaser trailer P.T. very excited. Already compared to one of the most talked about games of recent years, this gameplay is easily the most anticipated of next year - but the developers need your help in order to ensure a 2016 release date. Thanks to a new Kickstarter page, the studio is hoping to raise funds and expand its company to take on the workload involved in creating this title. Will you help them reach their goal? According to the Kickstarter page for Allison Road, the actual release date "will be directly determined by the success of this Kickstarter campaign and more specifically our stretch goals." Mac and Linux versions of the game are the main focus for now, according to Polygon.

We previously reported on the game's 13-minute, gameplay demo "prototype" that certainly got the gaming community excited. Check it out right here:

"You will take on the role of the unnamed protagonist who wakes up one day without any recollection of prior events," the game's Steam Greenlight page states regarding the synopsis. "Over the course of five nights It is your objective to uncover the whereabouts of your family, unravel the mysteries of the house, and face off against Lily and other dark entities that are nested deep within the house, while the clock is relentlessly ticking towards 3:00am."
