Ryan Reynolds & Blake Lively Baby James Picture Nearly Sold to Media by Friend

Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively are be new parents, as they just welcomed baby James into the family less than a year ago, and this couple is extremely private about their newest edition, as they try their best to shield her from the limelight of Hollywood and celebrity craziness. However, during a recent incident, the Deadpool star was forced to confront one of his oldest friends about a betrayal. It turns out that one of the star's pals was actually trying to sell pictures of Reynolds' baby to some media outlets.

According to Us Weekly, the action hero entered a really dark couple of weeks after he found out that his close bud was trying to pawn off pictures of baby James.

"A guy that I'd known for my whole life, one of my closest friends growing up, he had been shopping pictures of my baby around," the Just Friends actor explained in a new interview with GQ magazine about his nine-month old daughter. "I kind of got in front of it, which is good, but it was a slightly dark period. A bad couple of weeks."

"Somebody I grew up with, yeah," the star continued. "Somebody I've known, who's been one of my closest friends for 25 years. It was like a death. It was like one of those devastating things to find out."

As far as how the actor decided to confront the situation, he explains that he had a strongly worded talk with his buddy and left it at that.

"It was a pretty strongly worded conversation," the star explained, adding that the friend was doing it "just for the money."

Reynolds also added that it wasn't hard to find out who was shopping the pictures around, as he only sent it out to a few close pals, including one from the delivery room.

The star also explained, according to Huffington Post that his relationship with his friend is officially over, saying "it's just, 'Oh, well, now I'm never going to see you or talk to you again, unfortunately.'"
