Fetty Wap has finally given a response after his scary motorcycle accident this weekend, as the “Trap Queen” singer sent a sweet message to fans following the crash. The hip-hop vocalist took to this Instagram to issue a personal message to all of those who have sent their well wishes, thanking them for their continued support and prayers.

Updating his fans that he is alive and well, he then revealed that he officially broke his leg in three places from the crash. He made sure to stress to fans how appreciative he was of their concerns and support, and even said that some of those around him advised him to not make a video after the incident.

Despite the good news that the singer is doing fine, he still has to deal with some negative aftermath from the accident.

According to reports, Wap has been given not one, but three tickets for the incident, as he was driving the motorcycle without a license, any type of insurance, as well as registration for the bike that he was operating.

The motorcycle crash occurred this past Saturday, when Wap was riding around his hometown, Paterson, New Jersey, with friends. As he was attempting to pass a car on the road, he slammed into a car driving in the opposite direction, causing him to fracture his leg in three different places.

As photos circulated on social media, fans became very concerned, as it appeared that Wap could have been unconscious after the crash. Once it was reported that he was “responsive,” news soon after revealed that he broke his leg, with a photo surfacing of him sitting up in his hospital bed.

The hip-hop star’s accident comes just one day after the release of his highly-anticipated self-titled debut album, was officially dropped this past Friday. After a summer of putting four singles on the Top 10 of the Billboard charts, the music community is expecting him to do well with his album sales. The project contains all four tracks that were on the charts.
