Michelle Obama is joining Disney Junior, as the First Lady will be turning animated for the channel's popular Doc McStuffins series. Our FLOTUS is becoming an animated character on the children’s television show, where she will actually be portraying herself.

For the special episode, Obama will be inviting the main character, little Doc, to the White House, where she will be honoring her, and other young individuals who dedicate themselves to helping out their communities. The First Lady will be appointing the aspiring little girl as the “official toy doctor” during her White House visit.

The children’s series focuses on little Doc and her work to make sure all is right in her own neighborhood, so the honor is, of course, very fitting. The episode is set to air on Oct. 5, taking place in Washington, D.C., and will be attributing to Child Health Day, which is that same time.

This is not the first time that Mrs. Obama will be making a television appearance, although her other gig will be also playing herself, but in-person, on Project Runway Junior. The FLOTUS is set to be a guest judge on one of the upcoming episodes, where she will be judging the fashion designs of teenagers between the ages of 14-17.

Contestants are set to compete for an opportunity to attend California’s Fashion Institute of Design and Marketing, get $25,000 to help launch their own line, and a home sewing crafting studio provided by Brother. There are also a ton of other incentives involved for those who are able to make it through the intense competition. All the designs will be working with Lands’ End, and supporting her Let Girls Lean Initiative, which helps nearly million adolescent girls around the world go to school and stay in school.

Michelle Obama is going to be one busy lady this Fall season, and we look forward to seeing her hit our small screens.
