Fans may know Tori Spelling as one of the hardest working women in the business. Okay, maybe they don't. Regardless, despite the daughter of Aaron Spelling having had multiple reality TV shows over the years, plus scripted series titles including Beverly Hills, 90210, and Mystery Girls – and movies and New York Times bestselling books – it looks like the starlet might soon be putting her career behind her and retiring, if what she is telling her fans is true. Spelling might be desperate to keep working as she is hoping to keep the paychecks coming in, but she might not be able to, after sustaining an injury to her hand at Japanese restaurant, Benihana.

According to Radar Online, Spelling has been telling those closest to her that she will be unable to work because of the burn that she got while dining at the chain restaurant.

The incident occurred earlier this spring, while Spelling and her family were celebrating Easter at the eatery. While the star was leaving the hibachi restaurant, she tripped backwards and fall onto the grill, which immediately burned her hand. The star was then hospitalized, where she underwent some painful skin grafting surgeries to make sure her hand could heal properly.

In the picture that Tori posted to her Instagram from July 15, viewers can see her arm wrapped up in a bandage from the skin grafting.

The star has since filed a lawsuit against the restaurant, but she is telling those close to her that the damages she has sustained will keep her from working in the future.

"It's just too painful for her to work," an insider explained to In Touch. "There is terrible nerve damage, and Tori often feels numbness in her right hand. Tori won't be working until the lawsuit is resolved."

To make matters worse it is being reporting that she will be relying on the money from the sushi place to pay her bills, as she is unsure of whether or not she can work following the incident.

"She's uncertain if she will ever be able to work again because of the physical and emotional scars!" the site explained. "Tori will be going after a big payday from Benihana."
