Is rapper DMX now working at IHOP? MStars News has learned that the rapper, whose real name is Earl Simmons, was spotted cooking up a meal at the franchise in a city near Buffalo, New York.

According to TMZ, DMX decided to get in the kitchen and cook up a chicken fajita omelette at the New York IHOP just for fun. It's safe to say that X isn't giving up his rap career to wear an apron.

The gossip site claims DMX went to the IHOP to have a meeting with his manager, and wanted to meet the cooks in the kitchen that were responsible for his meal. In the photo collage below, DMX appeared to being having the time of his life wearing an IHOP badge, cooking and posing with fans.

According to Billboard, X was released from jail last week. He was  sentenced to six months of prison after he failed to pay child support. The rapper claimed that he didn't know that he had been behind on owing his baby mama, who lives in Buffalo, money.

Following his release, the rapper and his attorney, Dominic Candino, embraced in a tight hug. DMX isn't quite out of the woods just yet. He may have to go back behind bars if the court finds out that he refused to pay back child support due to money issues.

When he was released on Friday, X didn't just hit up the local IHOP, he also went to a local Spanish food venue and went back to work in the studio.

MStars News previously learned that DMX owed around $400,000 in unpaid child support. He was arrested right before he took the stage at Radio City Music Hall.

In the video below, DMX also received huge hugs from his supporters after being released early. He seemed overly excited last week.
