Dancing With The Stars professional dancer, Witney Carson spilled her secret to getting her dream engagement ring and surprise proposal. Carson's fiance, Carson McAllister, chose a 2-carat Rocky Mountain diamond ring with a diamond halo and pave-accented rose band.
He reportedly had the help of both his and Carson's parents.
She confessed, "My mom really knows what I like- I've been sending her pictures. His mom and my mom kind of helped him and guided him through it. I love it so much!"
The high school sweetheart's engagement story is one fit for a California fairytale. McAllister surprised Carson by making her believe that he was at home working in Utah. After a night out with his sisters, Carson was shocked to see her now husband-to-be waiting for her on the beach.
She recalled, "I was meeting his sisters for dinner in Manhattan Beach. We went out onto the beach to take pictures and I looked over, and he was standing there surrounded by candles and a little canopy. That's when he proposed! It was really beautiful and he did an amazing job."
McAllister created the perfect scene for a proposal in the sand and had the couple's song, "Must Be Doin' Somethin' Right" by Billy Currington playing in the background. When the song came on, he knelt down on one knee and pulled out a seashell that held her ring.
Carson announced the exciting news on her instagram with a beautiful photo of the newly engaged pair with the caption, "my love of four years @carson.mcallister proposed last night & I feel like the luckiest, happiest woman in the world....it was perfect, he's perfect #engaged"

Carson plans to include DWTS co-stars in her wedding, including her Season 19 partner and mirrorball trophy winner, Alfonso Ribeiro.
"I'm going to have Alfonso's son be the ring bearer," Carson shared. "They're so special to me and I just want family around."
