Seems like J.R. Smith is still a bit salty after the Cavaliers lost in Game 6 to the Golden State Warriors last season during the NBA Finals, as he denied a young Warriors fan his sneakers because he was rocking Warriors gear.

According to Big Play, after a scrimmage last week, some of the players decided to entertain the fans on the sidelines. One fan included a little Golden State Warriors fan who was up to receive a pair of Smith's post-scrimmage sneakers. Apparently Smith asked him to let go of his Warriors tee, but the fan refused to give up his shirt, so Smith moved along and found a young Cavs fan to give the LeBron 12 low-top sneakers to, as reported by Sneaker News.

That was pretty heartless of J.R., especially considering the fan was probably 4-6 years old and completely adorable! Now, if the little kid was rocking gear from another team, Smith probably would've let it slide. But it seems as though the memories from Game 6 are still fresh in Smith's mind, and giving his post-scrimmage gold and burgundy sneakers to a fan who refused to get rid of his Warriors gear would be like rubbing salt on an open wound.

Now, even though Smith ended up giving his sneakers to a young Cleveland Cavaliers fan instead, as reported by Bleacher Report, at least he did make an attempt to bargain with the Warriors fan before moving on! (It's not like he'd leave the kid shirtless, he probably would've supplied the kid with some Cavaliers gear, too!) He obviously felt a little bad about it too, since after he gave the Cavs fan his sneakers, he looked back at the young Warriors fan with a look that said, "Sorry bud, but you chose the shirt."

Hopefully this won't end up causing karma trouble for J.R. Smith and the Cavaliers as regular season is right around the corner.
