After claiming victory against the San Francisco 49ers, New York GIants star wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. suffered an injury during the fourth quarter of the game and almost cried during a post-game interview.

On Sunday, the Giants nearly blew another game. Call it luck, but Eli Manning managed to score a game-winning touchdown pass to Larry Donnell:

Prior to this game-winning touchdown, Colin Kaepernick lead the San Francisco 49ers and scored a "potential" game-winning touchdown with less than two minutes left in the game. So the fact that the Giants managed to pull through was truly a miracle. It's no wonder Odell Beckham Jr. got quite emotional during the post-game interview. Now, this game may not have been all that important for the Giants (although it kind of was...considering it got them to the top of the NFC East), it was definitely a great game for OBJ. Beckham Jr. caught 7 passes for 121 yards and scored one touchdown during the game, as reported by ESPN. Beckham Jr. may not have been responsible for the final drive leading to the Giants win, due to a hamstring injury sustained during the fourth quarter of the game which prevented him from playing much of a role, Beckham Jr. almost cried during the post-game interview anyway.

According to the New York Post, "It seems like we're always counted out, things don't always go our way," Beckham said when asked why he had gotten so emotional, as per Sports Grid. "In the past, we've make these mistakes and they say history is doomed to repeat itself. It was great to be able to see this team and the fans just light the stadium up, they lit the stadium up and gave us the energy we needed to be able to go down there and score."

After Sunday's game, Beckham Jr. brought his career totals to a staggering 1733 receiving yards and a total of 15 touchdowns. Congrats to OBJ and the New York Giants! Hopefully they can keep this up. As for OBJ's injury, he doesn't seem too worried about it. When Michele Tafoya (the interviewer in the post-game interview) asked OBJ about his hamstring injury he sustained during the game, he replied: "Got a long week to prepare, get right," he said as per NJ.com, "so, looking forward to Monday."
