Tonight is the very first Democratic debate for the 2016 Presidential run, folks. Yes, even though the election is still one year away, the United States is gearing up for a debate between the candidates. And while this event may fail hard at being as entertaining as the Republican debates – or as some call it, The Donald Trump Show – there are still some things we're hoping to see during this evening's CNN event.

So, from Hillary Clinton's email scandal to some Black Lives Matter questions, let's check out what MStars News is hoping to see at the debate.

A JOKE ABOUT THE NUMBER OF DEMOCRATIC NOMINEES
There are just under 20 Republicans running for President. There are five Democrats. Because of this, we're expecting, and yes, hoping, to hear a couple of jokes that poke fun at the size of the Republican Party candidates.

SOME DONALD TRUMP JOKES
This is inevitable, isn't it? Of course, being that the former Celebrity Apprentice star will be watching the debate, and live tweeting it, you can probably expect some pretty harsh words on Twitter from Trump as well.

JOE BIDEN NOT SHOWING UP
Not that we're saying we wouldn't love for Joe Biden to run for president, but it seems that CNN is being a little too hopeful here. In fact, they've created a podium just in case Biden decides to run for the big seat. Which, as Stephen Colbert notes, he probably won't.

NO GOD QUESTIONS
Religion was brought up at the first Republican debate. And, well, we're really hoping it's not a question tonight.

JIM WEBB, MARTIN O'MALLEY & LINCOLN CHAFEE GET SOME APPLAUSE
Honestly, this debate is the Hillary Clinton, Bernie Sanders show. The other three guys, did you even know their names before we mentioned them above? Exactly. Because of this, we're hoping for something from them that ignites some applause.

Check out the Democratic Debate tonight on CNN at 8:30 p.m.
