'The X-Files' Revival Spoilers: Twitter Reacts David Duchovny/Fox Mulder "Ask Yourself" Promo!

Back by popular demand, Fox premiered an exclusive promo of the iconic sci-fi/horror series. Twitter had lots to say about the revival of The X-Files, as paranormal investigators Fox Mulder (David Duchovny) and Dana Scully (Gillian Anderson) had to say, "Ask Yourself?"

As we previously mentioned,13 years have passed since FBI agents Fox Mulder and Dana Scully were on the TV screen solving weird and supernatural cases. The reboot of Fox's popular sci-fi series continues with an all-new 6 episode arc. Not only are the leads back to reprise their iconic roles, creator Chris Carter will takeover as showrunner for the franchise that launched his and many other careers.

As we mentioned before, on Monday night (September 28), Fox aired a two-part trailer for their sci-fi procedural/drama. Part 1 will air during the second episode of Season 2's Gotham (at 8pm), with Part 2 following during freshmen drama, Minority Report (at 9pm). Just days after the cast and crew made their way to New York Comic Con, Fox premiered a new animated promo during last night's Gotham episode.

According to TV Line, in the television spot, there is " William B. Davis's Cigarette-Smoking Man utters four momentous words that should give X-Philes everywhere a series case of the goosebumps."

The X-Files returns with a special two-night event beginning Sunday, January 24, 2016, following the NFC Championship Game. The event continues Monday, January 25, 2016 (8pm).
