WWE 'NXT' Results 10/14/15: No. 1 Contender Battle Royal for Finn Balor's Championship

The October 14, 2015 episode of WWE's NXT airs on the WWE Network and features a Battle Royal to determine the No. 1 Contender to Finn Balor's NXT Championship. We've got the full results from tonight's show, so let's get into it.

NXT Women's Champion Bayley heads to the ring and the crowd heaps praise upon her with a "Match of the Year" chant. The champ talks about the matches at NXT Takeover: Respect, specifically the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic and her match with Sasha Banks. She says the women's division in NXT has now proven itself.

Alexa Bliss interrupts her, but she just comes out to say that she loved every moment of the Women's Championship match last week. She says Bayley really deserves to be champion and raises her hand. After this, she steals the title belt from Bayley, and Wesley Blake and Buddy Murphy step between them. Alexa says the next time she takes the belt from Bayley; it will be the real deal.

The Vaudevillains defeat Sawyer Fulton and Angelo Dawkins with the Whirling Dervish.

Backstage, Devon Taylor talks to Scott Dawson and Dash Wilder, who talk about how they upset the NXT Tag Team Champions in the Dusty Rhodes tournament. They are now the No. 1 Contenders for the belts and will take them at the first chance they get.

The debuting Nia Jax defeats Evie with a modified sidewalk slam.

Eva Marie sends a video message to the fans at Full Sail University. She apologizes for not being there tonight and says her last few physically demanding matches have taken a toll on her, so she's taking some time for herself in Paris.

The No. 1 Contender Battle Royal begins, and the action is fast and furious. The final four in the match are Samoa Joe, Apollo Crews, Baron Corbin and Tyler Breeze. Joe delivers a big boot to Breeze that sends him over the top rope and eliminates him.

Joe goes for a Muscle Buster on Corbin, but he reverses it. Corbin manages to toss Joe onto the ring apron but his feet don't hit the floor. Tyler Breeze then yanks Joe off the apron, which eliminates him.

Corbin and Crews then trade blows and Crews avoids elimination twice. He tries for a standing moonsault, but Corbin blocks it with his knees. Crews then reverses a move and connects with three enziguris and a clothesline to eliminate Corbin and win the match.

Apollo Crews is the new No. 1 Contender to the NXT Championship.
