Faith Hill Announces New Talk Show, Kellie Pickler Set To Host

Country superstar Faith Hill has entertained fans for over two decades with countless hits, tour dates and television appearances. In an exciting announcement on Twitter, Hill announced that she will be the executive producer for a daytime talk show with equally charming country singer Kellie Pickler as host.

The currently unnamed series will be set in the country music capital of Nashville and filmed in a modern farmhouse-styled home.  Faith Hill's website describes the series as "an informative, Southern-inspired and fun-filled celebration of everyday living and activities," which promises "insights from top tastemakers and experts in everything from cooking and gardening to entertaining and home design and beyond."

Hill will partner with former Oprah co-executive producer and OWN Executive Lisa Erspamer on the series. They will also be accompanied by Legendary Television and Jason Owen's Nashville-based company Sandbox Entertainment.

In a recent interview, Hill spoke highly of Pickler's many talents and excitement of having her booked as the host. "This is a woman of so many talents," Hill said. "Kellie is smart, compassionate, funny, quick-witted and has a heart for service - the work she's done with the USO and our service men and women is no secret."

"She possesses the ability to reach far beyond the camera and into the hearts of people, allowing you to feel immediately connected to her," Hill added. "There was no question in my mind that she should be a big part of this show."

The new series will not be Pickler's first gig on television. Pickler was discovered on the hit singing competition American Idol in 2005 and won the mirrorball trophy on Dancing With The Stars in 2013. She has also guest-hosted daytime talk shows like ABC's The Chew and The View. Fans will also see her on television in November on I'm In Love With Kellie Pickler, a reality series chronicling her everyday life with husband Kyle Jacobs.
