When it comes to his relationship with former Los Angeles Lakers baller, Lamar Odom, his pal, Kobe Bryant has a bone to pick with rapper Master P after he claimed that he was a "fake friend," to Odom. MStars News has learned that Bryant clapped back at Master P for his rants over the past few days after Bryant paid a visit to Odom whose was hospitalized after being found unconscious in a Nevada brothel.

According to The Wrap, Bryant issued a statement last week on Twitter after Master P called Bryant's friendship with Odom "phony."

The Los Angeles Lakers champion didn't directly call out the rapper but rather inferred his comment was insensitive, further stating that when we "feel the need" to question the support being doled out by others, we need to start looking at the "kind of culture" that has been created.

Bryant's statement came after Master P, whose real name is, Percy Robert Miller, told TMZ cameras:

"If Kobe was his friend, Kobe like, owned the team. He could've got the man back on the team, that's all he wanted," Romeo Miller's father explained.

"Kobe knows the man was a hell of a player, you can't take that away from him," he added, before claiming that Bryant's appearance at Sunrise hospital in Las Vegas hospital was "phony."

Master P claimed that he was Odom's friend, and mentor and even believed that Odom was Odom was "blackballed" from the NBA because he decided to marry Khloe Kardashian.
