Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson finally has a deal with Under Armour after years of a contractual relationship being in the making.

The Rock, who's famous for laying the smackdown in the WWE ring and acting on screen, announced via Instagram that he officially has a deal with Under Armour on Friday. This may not come as much of a surprise considering the actor has been spotted in Under Armour gear several times, the deal solidifies the "casual" relationship between Under Armour and The Rock, USA Today reports.

The caption of the Instagram photo reads, "IT'S OFFICIAL. The Rock/Under Armour partnership has been years in the making and we're proud and pumped to have it come to fruition. The goal is to bring you innovative and bad ass products that inspire men, women and kids to stay hungry, humble and always be the hardest workers in the room."

Under Armour has been making big moves over the past few years, one of them being the signing of Stephen Curry, who has his own signature shoe and was given equity in the brand. The company is starting to see its sales sky rocket (Under Armour also recently announced its first $1 billion sales quarter in the company history!) as it validates itself as a genuine contender in the athletic footwear world alongside Adidas and Nike.

The Rock is definitely an ideal pitchman for Under Armour given his authentic status in the fitness world, considering he is a former Hurricane football player turned professional wrestler turned movie star who's also a dedicated gym buff. The addition of Johnson is definitely major for the company, also because this means the company has finally decided to extend its reach beyond solely endorsing professional athletes, according to HypeBeast.

Congratulations to the Rock and Under Armour for finally teaming up and signing a deal!
